Putin Reveals New Missile Fired At Ukraine, Warns Countries Allowing Attacks On Russia Will be Next | Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow had used a new mid-range ballistic missile 'Oreshnik' in Ukraine. Putin warned that Russia has the right to strike military targets of countries whose weapons are used by Ukraine to hit Russian territory.
"In the event of an escalation of aggressive actions, we will respond just as decisively", he said in a televised address.
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier said Russia had likely fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) at Ukraine for the first time in an apparent response to Kyiv's first ATACMS and Storm Shadow strikes on Russia.
