PSA 119 is the longest at 2,445 words, this Ch 7 of Numbers has 1,939 words which is like number 4, I think in the top 10 for those who are interested in those types of stats. No CH or Vs breaks in the original manuscripts.
These were probably not like the covered wagons of the old west in America, but more like the carts or wagons they had in Egypt which were well equipped to withstand the wilderness travel.
First, the wagons or carts assigned for the work of the Levites (Vs 1-9).Second, the offerings of the tribal leaders (Vs 10-88).Third, the result of these offerings; and that is communion between Moses and the LORD. The last verse.
Notice Judah is the first tribe mentioned. Judah is listed first because it is the tribe from which the Messiah will come. HE is the promised Messiah and the Israelites are about to enter the promise land. Even though Judah was the 4th born son of Yakob, his tribe is listed first.
