Tom Homan: "You're Just Crazy" if You Think Defunding Police Won't Lead to Rise in Rapes

"[Does defunding police mean] less patrol cars out there? Does that mean less police officers in Times Square? Does that mean we can't replace a bulletproof vest that has just expired after five years? Does that mean they can't pay overtime for when something like what happened [in the] last two weeks?" asked Tom Homan, former Director of ICE and a former police officer, at a "Back the Blue" march in Washington, DC, back in 2020, in the midst of the Defund the Police movement.
