Legally blind Christmas lighgting

I am legally blind from an eye disease called retina pigmentosa, or for short, (RP). There’s not very much left. I am able to do that. I was able to do before my eyes got worse. My number one priority is taking care of my family and our home to the best of my ability. I’m still able to mow our yard a little and my boys step in when I tell them, I’m unable to finish. There is one thing that I would do till the very last bit of my eyesight is gone, and that is decorating for Christmas! Decorating for Christmas has been a passion/hobby/joy of mine ever since I was a child! Of course back then you never think you’re going to go blind or not be able to do all the things you used to enjoy, but some things are harder to give up than others, and Christmas is one of them! One of the main reasons I do my Christmas lights is because of my family. If I am able to make my family smile, and you see the faces on others who see it in the kids who love Christmas decorations around the neighborhood is worth every bit of it. We have had so many bad things happen in our life that sometimes it’s even hard to just decorate, but no matter what I still try to find a way to decorate even if it’s just some stuff! This year I had a lot of light issues so I had to scale back. My loving wife is so income in our family at this time. It has been a struggle to just keep up, so I was unable to afford to buy more LED Christmas lights to replace the lights that stopped working or add to display. It’s been a bad year for quite a few years now. I will share a video of what I was able to do with what I have in the next two weeks weather permitting! It’s not a lot, but if people knew that I was legally blind, and I am almost completely blind now, They would be surprised! Point of all this, is to show that no matter what your disability please never stop looking for ways to keep doing something you find to be a passion, please!
