Gather Up the Spoils (1)

As soon as we become children of God we become co-inheritors with Jesus Himself. His inheritance is our inheritance. But as spiritual newborns we do not function as the Son of God with our inheritance – we need to receive the revelation of our inheritance from the Word. We didn't earn it for ourselves, Christ didn't win it for Himself – He won it for us as a gift. Our inheritance in Christ Jesus is our spoils of His victory against the principalities and powers conquered at the Cross . .
