Journey Through the Solar System: Earth - The Planet (1983) | Episode 04

Journey Through the Solar System was a 13-episode documentary series produced by NASA's Lewis Research Center in 1983. Each half-hour episode contained the entirety or clips of older NASA films with framing host footage with Larry Ross, Director of Space Science at Lewis.

In episode 4 of Journey Through the Solar System planet earth is examined from the vantage point of space. We learn about the atmosphere and magnetic field. We also view the world through the eyes of the Landsat observation satellite.
