Auden B. Cabello in Tapachula: This morning, Nov. 20th, another caravan departed southern Mexico.
This is the sixth caravan to leave Chiapas since Claudia Sheinbaum's presidency; five have left from Tapachula and one from Tuxtla Gutiérrez with the intention of reaching central Mexico.
“Fear, violence and threats from Donald Trump are causing caravans to continue leaving Tapachula.” “Everyone wants to reach the United States before Donald Trump takes office, who has threatened to tighten the country's immigration policies.”
