Tekken Tag Tournament Character Select - Nintendo Guru Music Archive

A new song! I created this over the past month or so after publishing all of my old music to YouTube. Thank you all for your kind words, subscriptions, and likes. I can't guarantee any new musical content after this; it just has to come from inspiration and creative drive, ya know?

This is now my third character select theme from a fighting game. Of all of the music from the Tekken series, this song remains one of my favorites. It packs so much energy into a 15-second loop. And being so short, I was confident I could track it to completion. I imposed three restrictions upon myself for this one:
1) Faithfulness to the original. I incorporated aspects from both the Arcade and PlayStation 2 versions of this song and mashed them together into a hybrid amalgamation of the two.
2) No post-processing. This is pure Schism Tracker.
3) No new samples. I had to use the archive of instruments and songs I had accumulated up to 2003 when I released Enter the Guru and then went into retirement. It challenged me to find good approximations to Tekken's synths.
