US shuts Kyiv embassy due to 'potential significant air attack'

The United States shut its embassy in Kyiv on Wednesday, warning of the risk of an air attack, and told its citizens in Ukraine to be ready to seek shelter. It follows what Russia said was a Ukrainian attack on an arms depot deep in Russian territory with Western-supplied missiles, after outgoing U.S. President Joe Biden granted permission.
