Moscow Slams UK for 'Exploiting Ukraine’s Tragedy' for Military Profits

Russia has sharply criticized the United Kingdom for its role in escalating the conflict in Ukraine, accusing the UK of pushing the Kyiv regime towards prolonged confrontation with Russia.

In a scathing address, Moscow condemned the UK for supplying weapons and military support, which it claims not only prolonged the war but also exacerbated Ukraine's economic collapse and military losses.

The Russian government pointed to key interventions, such as former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s efforts to prevent peace talks early in the conflict, and accused the UK of enriching its arms industry at the expense of Ukrainian lives.

Russia also highlighted alleged corruption linked to military aid and the growing tensions between Western powers and Ukraine’s ongoing struggle.
