Awaken Biblical Prophecy Commentary – Why Can’t People Take God’s Word Literally?

You would think that the majority of Christians would accept that God’s Word is . . . well . . . true. They would believe it and act according to what it says. In the face of false doctrine, they would realize its danger and reject it because the truth lives in their hearts. They could do this because the Holy Spirit indwells them, and they listen to His wise counsel to receive His good guidance. Ah, if that were only the case, think how much different this world would be!
