PREACHING THE GOSPEL WITH COURAGE, LOVE, AND WISDOM

15 But [a]sanctify [b]the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!
There’s something about this very familiar story from scripture, that got me to thinking about what it means to boldly and courageously share the truth of Jesus Christ, but to do so with love and wisdom. When we’re faced with that opposition, persecution, and tough times, do we ask God for courage to be able to stand up for what's right, and speak the truth in the name of Jesus?

I think that's why the questions from this morning’s devotional, especially this question below, brought some things to my mind as to people who have been through the persecution and opposition for their faith, and I had to share these questions with you tonight. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God challenges your heart through them.

How have you or someone you know faced persecution for faith in Christ?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me not just from this passage of scripture this morning, but from other areas of God's word, on how important it is to not be afraid to speak the truth, to share the gospel, but to do so not only with courage and boldness, but also with love, compassion and wisdom. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you to night, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that this question challenges and motivates you to want to be bold in love in sharing your faith.

How will you “proclaim the gospel” today?

I don't know what your situation is, or where you're at, but I pray that wherever, whatever, or whoever God has given you as an opportunity to share the truth of Jesus Christ, that you don't chicken out on it. I pray that you ask God for courage and boldness to share the truth of Jesus Christ to that lost family member, coworker, or anyone that may be giving you opposition, and just allow God to work on their hearts. Who knows, a seed may be planted within them, and they may just come to know Christ. I also ask that you lift up in prayer all those who are facing persecution, discrimination, and opposition every day for their faith, especially the people that I mentioned in this vlog, and ask God to not only be with them and bless them, but to give them further courage to speak the truth in Jesus name. Most of all, I pray that you ask God to give you the courage, power, and wisdom to share your faith in Christ, and to do so in love and wisdom.
