Over 100 Bottlenose Dolphins Driven into The Cove - 23 Dolphins Kidnapped

This is Japan - Taiji Japan:
The pod of more than 100 Bottlenose Dolphins were driven into the Cove on the 15th. On the 16th, 18 captives were taken to the Taiji harbor and MoriuraBay (or KatsuUra).
(On the 17th, when the release was expected, the hunters did not come to the harbor or the Cove.)
Nov 18th 2024: After 3 nights we thought that the remaining dolphins would be released today, but this morning they were sorted again for captives.
The day before yesterday they merged the unsorted group with the group that had been sorted. That means many of them were undergoing a second round of sorting scares and stress. Finally, 5 more captives were captured in today’s sorting. So the total of 23 captives were taken from this pod. No one slaughtered and all the remaining dolphins were finally released.

Did they want to quickly fill the vacancy in the pen where they sold 10 dolphins not long ago to somewhere else? Could they have found plenty of places to sell the captives?

Needless to say, it’s not hard to imagine how frustrated the hunters must have been with Blue Cove by bad weather and no success, which lasted 35 days.
