524 AFRICAN AMERICANS AND CARIBBEANS ACQUIRE GHANA CITIZENSHIP

Ghana of all African countries has been one among the countries pushing African Americans to come back to its country and settle. Despite the countries economic debt and the devastating effects illegal mining - known locally as Galamsey - has on the environment, it has managed to acquire citizenship for majority of the African Americans and the Caribbeans.
