Pursuit Crash South Bay

On November 19, 2024, at approximately 11:09 PM, San Diego Police Department attempted to pull over a white Toyota in San Ysidro. The vehicle took off from police at a high rate of speed. Shortly afterward the suspect
collided with multiple cars across different streets ending up at South Vista Ave & Cottonwood RD. The driver was taken into custody during the hot stop without further incident. There were no injuries reported to law enforcement or the suspect. As a result of the incident, South Vista Ave and Cottonwood RD are closed in both directions while the SDPD conducts its investigation.
