Star Wars Loses 2026 Release Date to Ice Age 6! Lucasfilm in Trouble!

Disney Lucasfilm cleared the deck for Ice Age 6 in December 2026 by removing a Star Wars project from their tentative release schedule. It would have been absurd that a Star Wars movie would bow out of the way for anyone a decade ago, but that's what Kathleen Kennedy's leadership has done to the once great franchise.

Outside of The Mandalorian & Grogu, there are two streaming shows scheduled for release. After July 2025, Lucasfilm has nothing to offer for the rest of the year. It's dire times for the studio, but no one in the business has the guts to clean house!
