Jesus or Jeshua
Cause Before Symptom - With Your Host James Carner
Jesus or Jeshua
I saw a tiktok video of a woman who seemingly proved that Constatine made the leaders choose a deity out of many Gods and they chose Jesus, which is an offset of Isis or Zeus. I read many articles that are for and against this doctrine. Scholars who think they are right, always looked past the fact that Jesus had a saboteur. 1 of 12 was an apostate. A deceiver. An agent sent by Satan. Peter gave the Catholic Church to Linus who was the same as Judas. Everything that came afterward was infiltration. Linus and company Islam.
Should we argue this author or that? If a little yeast makes the entire bread rise, which in the bible is called levin, then just one saboteuer will ruin the entire thing. I have seen interviews with witches and warlocks and they say every church that has 50 members or more are targeted infiltrated. This is why churches and pastors fall all the time because Satan sets them up for failure. To argue that we or the Bible is wrong or right is nonsense given we live in a fallen world.
Everywhere we go, satan is there to steal, kill and destroy. If the second Pope ruined the church, why on earth are we arguing the devil’s doctrine? To say we found the old true ways is ridiculous. To say Jesus is the devil or Jeshua is the right one to use to cast out spirits is arguing away from the fact that we all are wrong. Satan isn’t going to let the truth get out, period. He will insert himself in any form of truth to steer everyone off the path. I firmly believe when I reach my maker’s face, I will be mostly wrong on every account of works.
Not because I couldn’t find the truth, but because the truth lives inside me and not outside of me. Jesus, Joshua, Jeshua or whatever you want to call the son of man paid the atonement for all and said he had to leave to send the truth teller. The comforter. The Holy Spirit which many neglect to build a relationship with. Even if they change Jesus’ name to Melvin, it will never stop people from finding God inside of ourselves. The body is the temple. So where do you go to worship and pay respects? Anything outside of us is a lie.
The observable universe is a lie. Flat earth, round or a snow globe. All lies. The truth isn’t available to us because anything we see with our eyes and hear with our ears is a lie. Isn’t Satan the father of it? Doesn’t he rule this place? When the disciples heard Jesus say he had to die, it upset them. He tried to comfort by sayng he had to leave so the comforter and truth teller can come. They didn’t understand. But the Holy Ghost is the one in control inside of your temple. He is the one that guides you in a fallen worls.
Jesus’ work is over. Finished. Ended. Done. He closed the book on religion and the silly laws. Said it was from a den of vipers and the synogogue of satan. You can’t find Jesus or Jeshua here on Earth. Everything that is in print has been distorted to cover up the truth. Whatever we read, we have to discern within our sprirt because everything is garbage mixed with a bit of truth. I believe Satan tricked us to focus on Jesus instead of the comforter. Jesus isn’t doing anything. He already did it. He died to save all of us. It’s Satan and his children with friends who are guilty of the abomination of desolation and are blaming us for their mistakes.
The truth resides inside you. It never did before Jesus died. To find the truth was even harder back then. For 2,000 years we have been living in what is called the grace age. We all were saved. Even those that never found Jesus. It wouldn’t matter if they did or not. Whatever they find on Earth is just social distortion. A fragment of the truth. Christianity is nothing more than the latest Pharisee holy people using the lord’s name in vain. Which means to use religion for gain. Hell wasn’t created for you. SO why are we worried about it? Because thot are seeking truth through carvings, symbols, words and sentences structured together are thought to be authentic.
To accuse someone of heresy or blaspheming God because they don’t trust man and their word for it, is silly. For a person to preach from a pulpit and be 100% sure what they have in their posession is the whole truth isn’t logical. I just simply love god too much to lie to myself. Although I am scared of leading people to hell, that fear is designed fear. It’s not natural and comes from interpretations. Why should I fear my maker? I have respect for Him. Wisdom tells me if Judas got into Jesus’ circle, we are ignorant to say Satan didn’t get into our Bible. All of the religious catholics were corrupt. All because a little levin corrupts all.
This world is designed for the bad to inherit the earth. They always do. Well, they can have it. I don’t like it. It created me whom was a narcissist, alcoholic asshole. Ever since I learned of the error of my ways, I noticed the world wouldn’t forgive me anyways even after all repentence. I would rather live in a world where people held onto silly traditions of kindness and invent new ways to improve life for others. This world is really good at fooling you into thinking it’s beautiful and a wonderful place to live. That’s magic.
The potential for human error and bias, should encourage critical thinking and a nuanced understanding of all texts. That sentence resonates with me. Humans will lean towards a lie than face the truth. Satan knows this and creates situations where the lies get stacked upon the very text we defend. The world’s problems should not be the fault of a new creature. Especially when we only live to be 120 years. Imagine that beings that were thousands of years old were placed here to deceive us and we are the ones who feel responsible for how the world works.
Not to say the Bible doesn’t have nuggets of gold that captures the spirit. It does. Even with all Satan threw at it, it supernaturally resonates much needed information for all the times. The stories are reminders of how easy it is to fall into trouble. But that is where the real truth isn’t found. The Bible is written on our hearts.
2 Corinthians 3:3
Paul says that the Corinthians are a letter from Christ, "written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts".
Hebrews 8:10b
God says, "I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people".
Jeremiah 31:33
God says, "I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people"
Sure, Satan probably changed the name of Joshua to Jesus. Who cares. We know who we accepted. We have to come to the end of ourselves before we find Him. We have to die and be born again to see what he was talking about. This is why drunks and drug addicts cling to religion after sobriety. They died to themselves and are seeking meaning and purpose.
Jesus is the idea that God came down to Earth from perfection and lived among us for 33 years. It was the only way he could relate to us. Just because you created all of the atoms and put them toegther doesn’t mean you know what it is like to be us. So he did it. All throughout his life, he was on the run. Imagined being chased by your own creation to hunt you down and murder you. Then when it came time for God to bow out of it, he walked graciously into the hands of us for one of the worst tortures known to man.
The creator sent his son to do it. He sent himself as the holy ghost to dwell inside Jesus and go through the torment. Jesus was batpized and that is when the Father entered him through his spirit. Satan focuses on his death. The cross. The blood. The torture. It pleased Satan to torture the son of god. That is true hate. Jesus quoted psalms to fulfill prophesy when he said why have you forsaken me father. The Bible says the name saves. I have cast demons out of people using the name Jesus and Yeshua. If I pronunciate the word wrong, as I am always doing, does the casting out not work?
Or does the father do the needful and give us to power to cast it out? Just because I am not in uniform, doesn’t mean I am not written in the book of life which means I am in His army. I know where the power comes from. I know my relationship with him and how I have overcome so many obstacles. You can’t wake me up from this truth that I get mt epiphanies from the holy ghost who lives inside me. I’ll never forget what the lord told me when he was just about ready to give me a double portion of wisdom. He said it would be easier for me to keep my head in the sand.
This means, if we are scared of finding truth and facing it, it would be easier to just stick your head in the Bible and do not move from it. I knew in my heart that what he meant was that I would question his word. That scared me, but it would mean I would never really know Him. I felt the risk was worth the reward and what I received was an actual friendship with respect. He respects that I try and relate to what it is like being him. He respects that I ask how his well being is. I would have never seen that side of him if I hadn’t ask for more wisdom. For that, I am grateful.
People quite often go by a variety of names. They might be known as Grace to people at work, but their friends call them Gracie, their children call them mom, their husband calls them "honey", etc. Likewise, if your name is John and you go by "Juan" among your hispanic friends and by "speedball" in your bowling league...everyone's still talking to you when they call you any of those names. We are talking to whom we are talking to regardless of what we call them.
It's a common and uncontroversial practice to translate proper names. When's the last time you referred to Japan as Nippon, or to Germany as Deutschland? It's very common for immigrants and others living among a people other than their own to translate their name. When I was a missionary in Latin America it was not uncommon to encounter people whose original names were things like John, Sue-Anne, or James going by: Juan, Susana, and Jaime.
This practice was common in Jesus' time too; thus why we see the apostle Paul going by the name Saul when he's among Hebrew believers and going by Paul when he's among Greek believers. Jesus didn't demand any kind of special exemption for his name, so there's no reason to imagine we would need one.
Yah means God and Shua means Saves and Christ means anointed. Shall we pray like this, “Dear God Saves Anointed”. None of these are names. So does the name save?
The verse that most directly states that calling on the name of the Lord saves is Romans 10:13: "For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”"
However, it's important to understand that salvation is a complex theological concept in Christianity.
While calling on the name of Jesus is a crucial step, it's not the only one. Other verses, such as Acts 16:31, emphasize belief in Jesus Christ as the key to salvation:
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household."
Ultimately, salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Calling on His name is an expression of that faith and a recognition of His authority in our lives.
So which is it? Both? Read it again. Calls on the name of the lord. Why did Paul not say Jesus instead of Lord?
The original name of Jesus was Yeshua, a Hebrew name that translates to "Joshua" in English. The name Jesus comes from the Greek transliteration of Yeshua, which is pronounced "Yay-soos".
The name Yahshua is a proposed transliteration of the original Hebrew name, but it's not considered to be the original form of Jesus. The pronunciation of Yahshua is not possible in the original Hebrew, and there's no support for it in archeological findings or rabbinical texts. The name Yahshua is mainly used by religious groups that are associated with the Sacred Name and Hebrew Roots movement.
The name Yeshua is based on the Semitic root y-š-ʕ (Hebrew: ישע), which means "to deliver; to rescue". It appears in Jewish history, and men named Yeshua are mentioned in temple service roll calls.
Yahshua is a proposed transliteration of יהושוע, the original Hebrew name of Jesus. The pronunciation Yahshua is philologically impossible in the original Hebrew and has support neither in archeological findings, such as the Dead Sea scrolls or inscriptions, nor in rabbinical texts as a form of Joshua.
Scientists are going gaga over the earliest inscription declaring “Jesus is God,” claiming that this 1,800-year-old engraving could change our understanding of Christianity.
The mosaic is “the greatest discovery since the Dead Sea Scrolls,” declared Carlos Campo, CEO of the Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C., where the theologically significant relic has been housed since July, the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) reported.
Dubbed the Meggido Mosaic, the 581-foot artifact was originally underneath a floor of the Meggido Prison in Israel in 2005, after which it was excavated in pieces by the Israel Antiquities Authority over the course of four years.
It had reportedly adorned a private chapel in 230 AD that was reportedly the “earliest known house of prayer,” according to Gil Lin, the head of the Megiddo Regional Council.
Inscribed on the mosaic are Greek words, “The god-loving Akeptous has offered the table to God Jesus Christ as a memorial. Lin described this as the “first physical proclamation of Jesus Christ as God,” the Daily Mail reported.
“The mosaic presents groundbreaking physical evidence of the practices and beliefs of early Christians, including the first archaeological instance of the phrase, ‘God Jesus Christ,’ seconded the exhibition’s curator Alegre Savariego.
This was significant as the artifact declared JC as God before Christianity became part of the Roman empire, JNS reported.
Megiddo, which was designed by a craftsman named Brutus, also features some of the earliest depictions of fish, one of the trademark symbols of the messiah in Christian theology.
“This is arguably one of the most important archaeological discoveries for understanding the early Christian church,” said Bobby Duke, director of the Scholars Initiative at the Museum of the Bible. “Truly, the mosaic presents a wealth of new data for church historians.”
So, 1800 years ago, around the second century, they were using that name in the greek. This bypasses all of the Constantine stories of Jesus coming from Zeus and Isis at the council of nicaea in 325 AD. Although the Church was compromised because of Linus, this proof of the mosaic removes that plot. And besides, even if Constantine changed things, that was for the Catholics and not the protestants.
It was Martin Luther who, around the year 1500, proved the catholics were hiding the Bible and it’s information. It was forbidden to read the Bible so they translated it to Latin so no one would read it. Yes, the devil is always trying to mess it all up, but changing a person’s name will not change what they did. Jesus’ footprint is what matters. He is the word. Not just his name.
In the Bible, particularly in the Gospel of John, Jesus is referred to as "the Word." This title carries deep theological significance and is understood in various ways:
1. The Creative Word:
* Genesis 1: The Old Testament describes God creating the universe through spoken words.
* John 1:1-3: John echoes this idea, stating that Jesus, as the Word, was instrumental in creation: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made."
2. The Revealing Word:
* John 1:14: John emphasizes that the Word became flesh, referring to Jesus' incarnation: "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
* Hebrews 1:1-2: This passage highlights Jesus as the final revelation of God: "Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets. But in these last days, he has spoken to us through his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe."
3. The Life-Giving Word:
* John 1:4: The Word is the source of life and light: "In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind."
In essence, "Jesus is the Word" signifies:
* Divine Nature: Jesus is not merely a human prophet but God incarnate.
* Creative Power: He is the agent through whom God created the universe.
* Revealing Truth: He is the ultimate revelation of God's nature and plan.
* Life-Giving Spirit: He is the source of spiritual life and salvation.
This understanding of Jesus as the Word is central to Christian theology and has profound implications for faith and life.
Let’s examine where Jesus resides and where Satan resides. In sin, there is where you will find the kingdom of darkness. In grace, there is where you will find Jesus. The bible talks about resisting satan. This means he performs under your actions. A name is not an action. A name is not an emotion. Resist the devil and he will flee. Seek first the kingdom of heaven and all these things shall be added unto you.
None of that mentions a name. The jews would never speak the name of God because it was too holy. If you were to save your children and they call out to you, would you turn your head untl they say your name correctly? Jesus’ walk amongst the earth was not just recorded by the jews, but the romans as well.
Tacitus: This Roman historian, writing in the 2nd century AD, mentions "Christus," whom Pontius Pilate executed in Judea.
Pliny the Younger: This Roman governor, writing to Emperor Trajan around 112 AD, describes the practices of early Christians, including their worship of Christ.
Suetonius: This Roman historian, writing in the early 2nd century AD, mentions an expulsion of Jews from Rome under Emperor Claudius, which may be related to disturbances caused by Christians.
Mara bar Serapion: A pagan philosopher, writing in the mid-2nd century AD, refers to Jesus as a wise king who was crucified and whose followers still exist.
Arguing a name is symantics which is the branch of linguistics and logic concerned with meaning. There are a number of branches and subbranches of semantics, including formal semantics, which studies the logical aspects of meaning, such as sense, reference, implication, and logical form, lexical semantics, which studies word meanings and word relations, and conceptual semantics, which studies the cognitive structure of meaning.
Understanding the semantics of "Jesus" requires careful analysis of the linguistic, cultural, and religious factors that shape its meaning. By examining the word's usage in different contexts, we can gain a deeper appreciation for its multifaceted significance.
The Semantics of "Jesus": A Deep Dive
The word "Jesus" carries profound semantic weight, particularly within religious and cultural contexts. It primarily refers to a central figure in Christianity, often considered the Son of God and the Messiah prophesied in the Hebrew Bible.
Core Semantic Features:
* Religious Significance: A divine being, often associated with concepts like salvation, redemption, and eternal life.
* Historical Figure: A real person who lived in the first century CE, known for his teachings, miracles, and crucifixion.
* Cultural Icon: A symbol of hope, love, and compassion, influencing art, literature, and philosophy.
Semantic Variations and Nuances:
The specific meaning of "Jesus" can vary depending on the context and the beliefs of the individual or group using the term:
* Christian Contexts:
* Son of God: A divine being, part of the Trinity.
* Messiah: The long-awaited savior of the Jewish people.
* Lord and Savior: A source of spiritual guidance and salvation.
* Cultural Contexts:
* Historical Figure: A person of historical importance, often studied in history and religious studies courses.
* Cultural Symbol: A representation of various values, such as love, peace, and forgiveness.
Semantic Ambiguity and Misunderstanding:
The word "Jesus" can sometimes lead to misunderstandings and debates, particularly when used in interfaith or intercultural contexts. It's essential to consider the specific context and the intended meaning to avoid misinterpretation.
Semantic Analysis and Interpretation:
Understanding the semantics of "Jesus" requires careful analysis of the linguistic, cultural, and religious factors that shape its meaning. By examining the word's usage in different contexts, we can gain a deeper appreciation for its multifaceted significance.
This means his actions are what makes him and not his name. His actions are referring to the cultural icon, historical figure, religious significance, son of god, messiah, lord and savior. To put a name on something with multiple meanings seems illogical. All those added up can be summed up as God.
