LIVE FOR TODAY
(Written by Ben Antoniadis)

Reflection in the fountain; lady, you can’t fake it
Top of the mountain; what’s it mean to make it?
With a shadow breathing down your neck
You turn around and it exits stage left
All the world’s a stage, your life’s a play
But sometimes you wonder if you’re even in it

Feel the heavenly rhythm of drunken angels swaying
Beyond the horizon, as the house band is playing
You look around, you hear the sound of a sparrow gently falling
Upon the ground, glory bound
Can you hear the music calling?

So, take the middle way, don’t stray too far
Lest heaven and hell tear you apart
Don’t live for yesterday, a day too late
Don’t live for tomorrow
Darlin’, just gotta live for today

See a lonely beggar turn his face from the cold
Desperate for the solace of a satisfied soul
Sometimes, you’re a troubled mind, beggin’ for a crumb
Sometimes, you’re a worn out high, just another kind of numb

Reflection in the fountain; lady, you can’t fake it
Top of the mountain; what’s it mean to make it?
With a shadow breathing down your neck
You turn around and it exits stage left
All the world’s a stage, your life’s a play
But sometimes you wonder if you’re even in it

So, take the middle way, don’t stray too far
Lest heaven and hell tear you apart
Don’t live for yesterday, a day too late
Don’t live for tomorrow
Darlin’, just gotta live for today
