There is NO Rotary Club in Kuranda, hasn't been for years, like the Lions...Why is there still signage up referring to it? For those of you who don't know, there is a 'wishing well' buried underneath all that overgrowth in the background, in front of a beautiful sandstone rock wall...
Surely there's a local charity group who could make use of the funds provided by a refurbished and operational wishing well. Our choice would be to 'give the use of it' to Animal Rescue Tablelands to help with the costs of looking after all those dogs and cats they do...
The pathway also needs to be opened up so people can walk through the garden and not have to walk across it and around.
Ridiculous and embarrassing both at the same time.
