Officer Bryan Carnes fired "multiple rounds from his pistol" when he saw a man stabbing a woman in the bathroom of a condo, Fairfield Police Chief Steve Maynard said. The suspect died on scene, and the woman died at a hospital. Carnes and Sgt. Aaron Meyer forced entry into a Rolling Meadows condo off Gelhot Drive after a woman called 911 saying she needed help before 6 a.m. Friday, Maynard said. Cincinnati Pride organizers speak about the event.
