Paul from Foxtrot Mike Products gives GunBroker.com the rundown on the new FM Products Ranch Rifle.

Hey guys, thanks for coming down to FoxTrot Mike Booth Shot Show 2024. We got some interesting things to show you. We’re so appreciative of having GunBroker come by the booth. Let’s talk about it. In 525 years of rifled barrel-making, this the first time that anyone’s created a one-piece barrel to include a barrel extension, gas block, and muzzle break all integrated into the barrel. I’ve got a 45-degree gas block, which is pretty magical for suppressor hosting, and I’ve got a KeyMo Dead Air muzzle device integrated into the barrel. No more pin and welds to worry about, and we have an oversized barrel extension, and what that oversized Barrel extension allows us to do, is allow us to cut the complete feed ramp into the barrel extension instead of truncating it like with an AR-15.

This barrel extension does one other thing that allows me to have an absolutely massive 556 bolt, which everyone can see the logic in. There’s a few things we do when we build our uppers: the 45 degree gas block is pretty cool. This is a fuel injection fitting. It’s a ferrule, and when we install these, we rotate them 90 degrees and they can’t come out.

Every one of the guns on the wall has one of these one-piece barrels. We also do a thermal fit. We got a flat here on the barrel and a mating flat in the upper. We hit the upper up to 400. We press them together. Very stout, stable, accurate rifle setup. We launched the Ranch Rifle early in the year off our existing platform, and we waited till Shot Show to integrate the one-piece barrel, and the heavy-duty bolt into our Ranch Rifle. Very, very proud of this, platform’s done very well for us, and there’s one other thing we did it shot, which was we partnered with Global Ordnance to do the Monolith for them using the same one-piece barrel system.
