“Trump for President!”: COP29 Reacts to US Election

On the ground at the United Nations’ COP29 climate summit in Baku, Azerbaijan, The New American’s Alex Newman and Andrew Muller surveyed attendees, asking one question: “What do you think about Donald Trump’s win?”

Reactions included every emotion imaginable. Many communicated fear, anxiety, and pessimism, while others expressed joyful celebration. One attendee even said Trump was “handsome” and “strong.”
