A little more about China Rusia alliance

The last time China declared neutrality in Russia’s war was 118 years ago, when Japan’s ascending Empire of the Sun was battling the vast and decaying Czarist Russia, ironically, in northeastern China. The Qing’s neutrality in a war on its own territory did not save the dying dynasty. It was the “neutral” US from the other side of the Pacific that brokered a deal for the warring sides. For this deal (at the expense of the sovereignty of both Korean peninsular and the Philippines), Roosevelt won the Nobel Peace Prize. The end of the brutal Russo-Japanese War in China however, was only the beginning of more wars, disunity, and social revolutions in Asia for first three-quarters of the 20th century.
