All right Thank you for your service to our beautiful beautiful country You're looking at using your VA loan Maybe it's your first time Maybe it's not What you should know about shopping for your VA loan is that you have all these different lenders Some of them use the word hero Some of them use the word veteran in their name And I'm here to warn you Just like the blacklist at every base that I ever went to every ship that I was ever stationed on I did 20 years in the Navy and I know that anybody that puts veteran or hero in their frickin' window is someone I'm not buying a car from So why in the world would you consider getting a mortgage from Why would you consider using them as your realtor It's weird that we're all taught this way Don't do business with people who claim to have the veterans in mind But then we get to where we're home shopping the most serious purchase you're gonna make and you forget it So don't forget it If the word veteran is in their business name run If the word hero is anywhere in their marketing run What you wanna do is you wanna find a well-performing real estate agent who's gonna put you in front of a well-performing Lender and that's it And let me tell you about this If they have your branch of service in the name of their business if they have somebody that's like I don't know one of the most famous tight ends in the world and they're paying him millions upon millions of dollars that they collect from their customers Run Run run run run run And here's what's really interesting is that those lending institutions will wrap you in charge you extra to do business with them It's always more expensive The rates are always higher because they have to pay for all of that funding They have to pay for all of that everything So when you're shopping For a VA loan for somebody to work with in your area find a real estate agent that did 20 years or more in the military and now they're a real estate agent Because I'll tell you why I'm a real estate agent is because I got ripped off time after time after time again by people who weren't veterans by people who weren't in the military before and then they got into this business And I'll tell you right now that I did not get into this business for any other reason but I knew that I could outperform my competition I knew that I could be better customer service to you And part of that customer service is right here right now If they have your branch of service in their business name if they have the word veteran in your business name if they have the words veteran I'm sorry I already said veteran that one really pisses me off right If they have hero as a program run Run run run run run You just give me a call I can put you with a realtor in your area if you want If not find somebody who did 20 more 20 or more years in the military and then found their love of real estate themselves and now they're doing it for a living
