Heaven And Hell - 2

The Bible really does not tell us much about Heaven and Hell, which leaves room for us to build a system of traditions of men about these topics. This teaching seeks to cut through all the traditions of men and just trust the clear text of the Bible to enlighten us about Heaven and Hell.

This teaching presents answers to questions that include:
• Where is Heaven and who or what spends time in Heaven?
• What kinds of things are stored in Heaven?
• What part of human beings is the eternal part?
• Where does that eternal part of a human go when their body dies? Did you know that there are no scriptures saying that we die and go to Heaven?
• What about Purgatory?
• Where do our spirits get resurrected from?
• Jesus and Paul used the term asleep to referred to people whose body had died. Does that mean a time of nothingness, deep sleep, for our eternal spirits after the body dies?
• Is Hell the lake of fire?
• Is the devil a resident of Hell, or does he live somewhere else?
• What are the gates of Hell that will not stand against the church?
• What are Hades and Sheol?
