Film is silent. Scope & Content: Reel 1, U.S. troops debark at Manila; fishing boats dock in the harbor; children attend school and make rope; women weave hats; coconuts and sugar cane are harvested; troops drill at Camp John Hay; Igorots dance; Ateneo cadets drill. Reel 2, the Pacific fleet lies in Manila Bay. Gov. Gen. Stimson and Gen. MacArthur review a military parade. The 23rd Wagon Co. (Philippine Scouts) loads mules into boxcars; 45th Inf. (P.S.) troops detrain. The 45th Inf., 24th F.A., and 26th Cavalry make a forced march. The 45th and 57th Infs. (P.S.) parade at Camp John Hay in 1929.
