Congress questioning Brian Brooks on Web3 and it's place in the current financial system

Some would say that Brian Brooks would be a possible contender as the new SEC Chairman but that would create an insider issue seems how he is on the board of the HBAR Hedera Foundation. Main stream media Fox news is suggesting that the contenders for the SEC Chair would be Brian Brooks, Daniel Gallagher, Mark Uyeda, Hester Pierce and J Christopher Giancarlo. They have forgotten one other, Brad Bondi.
Brad Bondi, Global Co-Chair of Investigations and White Collar Defense at law firm Paul Hastings, is one of several people being considered as president-elect Donald Trump’s appointment to the SEC.

Bondi is “well versed in financial regulation of all types, crypto included,” said Ashley Ebersole, General Counsel at blockchain firm 0x and who was Senior Counsel at the SEC from 2015 to 2019. “Brad would also be willing to do the hard work of enacting regulations that allow crypto to continue its growth trajectory and provided guidelines for enabling this growth to occur without exposing companies and investors to a constant enforcement risk.”

Although Brian Brooks being a former CEO of Binance and sits on the board for HBAR Hedera Hashgraph would make him an excellent choice for SEC Chair, others are being considered for this position in the background, we'll see what happens in the near future!
