Every Thursday, the "MEN ON A MISSION" podcast answers the questions of who, what, where, when, why, and how the Catholic Church believes what it preaches by citing Sacred Scripture (biblical truths), the Catechism, and the lives of the Canonized Saints.

The mission is to equip men with "spiritual" tools to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil, becoming "spiritual warriors" who lead families, churches, and communities for such a time as this.

Today's podcast, Lesson #33: THE MAN AS A WARRIOR IS WHEN A MAN MUST FIND A WAY TO BE CHIVALVOUS, SELFLESS (AS SEEN PER ST. JOSEPH. TERROR OF demons, AND LEADS HIS FAMILY: SPIRITUALLY, PHYSICALLY, FINANCIALLY, EMOTIONALLY, AND SEXUALLY; THEREBY, SURRENDERING HIS WILL TO THE LORD AND INTENTIONALLY SEEK HIS PERFECT AND DIVINE WILL. WHEN A MAN'S VISION IS SOLEY FOCUSED ON 'WORDLY' SUCCESS, HE MISSES THE OPPORTUNITY TO GUIDE HIS FAMILY TOWARDS ETERNAL SUCCESS, AND "POTENTIALLY" LOSES THE GRACE-FILLED MOMENTS TO EXPERIENCE GOD'S MERCY, LOVE, AND BEAUTY. HE, IN FACT, BECOMES A "DEMI-GOD," MAKING HIS CAREER THE PRIORITY BEFORE GOD (IDOLATRY), PLACING HIS TRUST SOLELY IN HIMSELF, AND HAVING ZERO DESIRE TO KNOW WHAT GOD HAS AND/OR CAN DO TO TRANSFORM HIS LIFE AND HIS FMAILIES! THEREFORE, THE ONLY SOLUTION IS FOR A MAN TO REPENT; TO TURN AWAY FROM HIS PRIDE AND SELFISHNESS, AND ADMIT HE IS A SINNER WHO NEEDS GOD'S SAVING GRACE, THE REDEMPTIVE LOVE OF JESUS, AND THE SANCTIFYING GRACES CONFERRED UPON HIM BY THE DUNAMIS (DYNAMITE) OF THE HOLY GHOST IN ORDER TO EXPERIENCE A TRANSFOMATIVE AND RENEWED LIFE.

First, all men need to be held to the highest 'biblical' standards when it comes to integrity, honesty, and truth within our family, work, actions, and deeds. MOST MEN HAVE AN INNATE DESIRE to be equipped as "spiritual warriors" who overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. To be accountable, EVERY MAN, WOMAN, AND CHILD NEEDS TO IMPLEMENT A "daily" action plan: prayer, the reading and studying of Sacred Scripture, reading and studying the Catechism, reading and emulating the lives of the Saints, experiencing regular fellowship and accountability with other like-minded brothers, joining/leading a men's prayer fellowship, frequenting the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and Confession, and finally, meditating on and praying the mysteries of the Holy Rosary.

With an "attitude of strength, courage, purpose, and planning" and "expectant" faith in God and His authority in their lives, consider the following three steps towards a fruitful outcome OF BEING THE MAN AS A WARRIOR:

1) What does God's word state in Sacred Scripture?
2) What are the circumstances (good or bad)?
3) What is my heart telling me regarding my decision?

The goal of a Catholic Christian man is to get to heaven and inspire as many souls as possible to know, love, share, and serve the Kerygma, the "good news" that Jesus is Lord!

Answers to Lesson #33 are cited from the seventy-three books of the Bible (Sacred Scripture), the Catholic Catechism, and the lives of the "Canonized" Catholic Saints.

The goal of the "MEN ON A MISSION" Thursday Podcast is the salvation of souls.
