24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!
I have to say guys that I found this morning's devotional, but most of all this morning scriptures rather interesting, because I think a lot of us have a very skewed and distorted view of obedience. Like Cindy Hess Kasper, this morning's devotional writer stated so very well, that when it comes to this issue for us, “Obedience doesn't always come naturally.” Let me just say on that, “No duh!” I mean isn't it obvious? Our choice to obey or not to obey, is based on more often than not, a distorted view of what it means to obey, and that's why I really appreciate what I learned out of this morning scripture on this matter. I was also incredibly challenged by what I was reading, from this morning's devotions, as well as the questions that this morning's devotional gave on this matter, and I'd like to share those questions with you right now. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God will challenge your heart through them.

In what ways have you been willfully disobedient?

Why is it important for you to obey God even when it’s difficult or inconvenient?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me out of His Word on this issue, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and i pray that what i share with you helps you to see not just how important it is to obey, but to examine your motivations behind obeying, and that maybe you'll learn what it really means to do so. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn about the choices that you have to obey! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to challenge you with what it truly means to obey God, and your motivations for the obedience that you give Him. Motivation to obey God based on fear of punishment? Is it based on a sense of duty, as in you have to obey or else? If that's the case, I pray that you reexamine everything that you've been taught about this issue, come to the Lord in prayer, asking him to soften the stubbornness that's in your heart, as well as to change your heart and your viewpoints on what it means to obey Him, and to give you a desire to obey him out of genuine love. I pray that you obey God, because you love and want to obey Him, not out of fear, coercion, or any kind of manipulation that you may have been taught. Bottom line, I pray that with God's enablement that you learn to continue to follow the commands of the One who loves you the most. Not out of fear of punishment, but out of genuine love.

UNTIL TUESDAY:

HAVE A MAGNIFICENTLY BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
