This Cheap Device Turns Any Car Into A Self Driving Car.

So on the surface, the device looks pretty simple. It takes in streams of data from the outside world with cameras and GPS. Then it outputs control signals to a port under the every new car's steering wheel. But there are 3 invisible things about it that are truly amazing.

The last one really restores my faith in humanity.

3. It's Open Source. Anyone can download and edit the software for free. So you can add support for a new car, change how driving works, anything. Cuz you own the software, not the company.
