Weapons and drugs found and destroyed

Afghan and coalition forces discovered several drug and weapons caches in Helmand Province during five separate patrols March 2. In Garmsir district, patrols discovered 350 pounds of hashish and 20 pounds of opium. A weapons cache was also discovered, consisting of several IED components. In Marjah, a coalition patrol discovered a weapons cache with seven rocket-propelled grenade rounds, four cans of 7.62mm rounds, and two radio-controlled receivers. All weapons and drugs have been or will be destroyed by security forces.
