Combat missions and tour scenes. Reel 3: 1) PS's B-17's landing. 2) PS hangar area. 3) PS B-17 parking area. 4) LS B-17 stationary. 5) CU nose of B-17. 6) PS B-17 taxiing. 7) PS weapons trailer with bombs being towed across area. 8) LS weapons trailer with bombs being towed to B-17. 9) CU airman plays harmonica on trailer loaded with bombs. 10) Scene 9 repeats several times. 11) MS men fuze bombs near B-17. 13) MS INT operations building, operations officer makes call on phone. 14) CU chart of airfield, runways and parking areas. 15) CU same as scene 13. 16) MS another angle same. 17) CU tower operator fires flash signal gun. 18) MS officers stand on observation platform, watch planes overhead. 19) PS MS LS CU making awards to and decorating crew of B-17 MEMPHIS BELLE; men stand near plane -- 3-star general reads citation, walks down line and congratulates men. Two-star general present at occasion. 20) PS airfield taken from B-17 taxiing. 21) MS dust from prop blast. 22) LS line of B-17's awaiting take-off, camera plane waits turn in line, B-17's start take-off, others move up. 23) Aerial single B-17 (taken from aside turret). 24) Aerial formation B-17's (taken from side turret). Scenes repeat. 25) CU gunners fire waist guns. 26) ALS large aerial formation of B-17's. 27) CU INT plane, various gun positions. 28) Aerial single B-17.
