Ms. Heather Johanning, Victim Advocate Coordinator for the Texas Military Department, Sexual Harassment/Assault Response & Prevention (SHARP) and the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) office, explains how the office acquired its therapy dog Patsy. Ms. Johanning describes the positive impact that Patsy has on survivors of sexual assault and the value that having a therapy dog brings to Texas' SHARP/SAPR program.
