I want to do something a little bit different here guys from what I normally do when I do these evening posts, and I want to ask what you think it means to be spiritually fit. Is it from reading and memorizing God's word mindlessly, being in church whenever the doors are open, going out “soul winning” every week, dressing a certain way, or is it something else? Is your walk with the Lord scripturally sound, or is it full of useless, empty externals.

This is why, tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me out of His Word on this issue, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will get you to really thinking about your spiritual walk, about your spiritual training in God, and make sure that it is grounded and rooted firmly in Christ and no one else. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn what it means to be truly training for genuine and true godly living! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I want to leave them as a personal challenge, as well as to examine on your own, what your journey with Jesus is all about, and that you take time to evaluate your walk with Christ.

If you’ve started your journey with Jesus, how would you evaluate your spiritual health?

What evidence in your life points to your spiritual fitness?

My prayer for all of you, is that if you truly know Christ is savior, that you are taking the time every day to examine your journey with the Lord, evaluating every aspect of it, and asking God to show you areas in which you are either neglecting, or were you were focusing on externals, and do something about it. Start with first foremost going to the Lord and confessing your sin of focusing on activity for activity's sake, external, personal preferences, over really truly following God, and ask God to help you attend to true spiritual exercises like taking time to really learn God's word, quality time in prayer with Him, and ways in which she could truly love and serve others. Because it is truly only by God's strength, and living a life that truly honors God, that we obtain true spiritual fitness.
