CABO FRIO, THE BRAZILIAN CARIBBEAN?

In this video we visit Cabo Frio which is our first stop in the state of Rio de Janeiro. We show you Cabo Frio and also talk to you about the other 2 nearby beach town that you should visit when you are here: Armação dos Búzios and Arraial do Cabo. Those videos will come up soon, but in this video we started our visit by taking a boat taxi and visiting the island called Ilha do Japonês. After visiting the island we showed you a bit of the nearby neighbourhood called Passagem which a block near the water and has a lot of hotels, bars, restaurants, etc. By walking on the street by the water, we arrived at the biggest and most famous beach in Cabo Frio called Praia do Forte. The beach has this name because right in the beginning of the beach there is a fortress called Forte de São Mateus which was built by the Portuguese. We talk about some history regarding Cabo Frio and the fortress before heading back to the Passagem neighbourhood. There, we visited a very cute and charming square and talked about the famous Brazilian dance/sport called Capoeira. Lastly, we visited a view point on top of a hill to show you Cabo Frio from another angel. We hope you enjoy the video :)
