Tonight, there will still be more clouds to the south, but we should keep things dry. Low temperatures will cool off into the lower- to mid-50s with a light breeze out of the northeast between 2 to 5 mph. The first official day of summer is on Thursday which starts at 5:07 in the morning, and high temperatures will be back into the mid-70s with more clouds south again. As a low pressure system passes to the south, we could see a stray shower or sprinkle in our southern counties, but it wouldn't be a wash if there'd be anything. Winds will be a bit breezy out of the east and northeast between 5 to 15 mph.  A similar scenario will set up for Friday. Summer Solstice begins at 5:07 AM Thursday which is when the direct beam of the suns rays will reach the highest point in the Northern Hemisphere, the Tropic of Cancer. After Thursday, the daylight will begin to shorten, slowly at first.
