OUR ADVENTURES IN BELO HORIZONTE CONTINUE!

In this video, we show you in details the beautiful neighbourhood of Pampulha in Belo Horizonte which has a lot of historical significance and even today and in recent history it has been making headlines. The complex next to the Pampulha lake was recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site in 2016 and it is a significant example of modern architecture which was designed by the famous Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. One of the most famous designs of the complex is the church of São Francisco de Assis which is another one of Niemeyer's signature designs. There is also a football stadium very close to the Pampulha lake which is called Mineirão and it was one of the stadiums that was used for the FIFA world cup which took place in Brazil in 2014. After showing you the Pampulha complex, we also try of the most famous coffee shops in Belo Horizonte called Cafe Nice where we tasted their Pão de Queijo and a dessert that they are famous for called creme of plum; it was absolutely delicious. Lastly, we visited the Xapuri restaurant which has a lot of typical dishes from the region and we were extremely happy with the quality of the food. We hope you enjoy the video :)
