Mass Casualty Incident at an Abandoned House Party

On November 15, 2024, at approximately 11:50 PM, National City Police Department responded to a shots fired call at 945 N Ave. Upon arrival, they found a large party of young adults and juveniles in an abandoned house. An altercation between parties began just before shots rang out. There were a total of 5 victims with one being pronounced deceased at the scene. National City Police Department is handling the investigation. We will update information as it is released.
