August 20, 1980: Two letters about rape are read out on Radio One. The second from me!
As this entry was added November 13, 2024, I hope I will be forgiven for not remembering the full background to it.

Obviously, I listened to the interview with the Rape Crisis airhead. I can’t remember the two cases alluded to, specifically the Oregon case and the doctor who was framed for indecent assault, but I will do my best to dig them out at some point.

The guy whose letter was read before me was obviously a male feminist – the worst kind of creeps. It wouldn’t surprise me if he was a member of the Men Against Sexism Collective – Leeds was full of leftists like that. At one point these manginas were said to be running a creche. At this period in time and probably forevermore, it is very dangerous for any man to have anything to do with young kids of either sex who are not members of his own, immediate family,

Unsurprisingly, the theme of my letter was rejected, but at least they read it out. That year and maybe the year before I had heard of a number of false allegations, not all related to rape, which is what prompted me to write it.
