How to Make the Drink
Immune Boosting Tonic
Start by rinsing and gently scrubbing the skins of
1 pineapple - 2 lemon -2 lime
Add the skins to a large pot,
then add a 2- to 4-inch piece of ginger (sliced), a 2- to 4-inch piece of turmeric (sliced),
2 -3 cinnamon sticks - 5 to 6 cloves, - 3 bay leaves
Fill the pot with about 8 to 10 cups of distilled water. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 2 hours.
After simmering, strain the mixture to remove the solids and stir in 1 tablespoon of black pepper to boost nutrient absorption. Your drink is now ready to enjoy! You can serve it warm or let it cool, adding a touch of honey or extra lemon juice for taste if you like. For easy storage and accessibility, pour the remainder into 500ml mason jarsand refrigerate.
