2 Corinthians 4:1-15

Paul reminds the Corinthians that there is a spiritual battle for the hearts and minds of humans. Specifically, the gospel that Paul preached would not be received by everyone. Why? The god of this world, Satan, blinds the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ (vs.3-4). Nevertheless, Paul would continue to preach the glorious gospel of Jesus. Paul found himself in awe of the reality that God had entrusted this message to him in spite of his fallen human nature. The God who spoke the world into existence lives in every believer. Because of God's indwelling Holy Spirit, He uses our weakness to manifest His glorious might. In doing so, God alone receives the glory!
