Armed Man Killed in Shootout at Alexandra Police Station

A 26-year-old man was fatally shot by police during a chaotic shootout at the Alexandra Police Station. According to SAPS Deputy Police Commissioner Major General Fred Kekana, the man initially visited the station to open a case but got into a scuffle with officers. He managed to grab a firearm from one of the officers and fired randomly, wounding two officers. Police returned fire, killing the man on the scene. Investigations are underway.
