Dan Curtis, known for Dark Shadows, The Night Stalker, Burnt Offerings, and The Trilogy of Terror, brings us Dracula! This adaptation was written by the one and only, Richard Matheson. Matheson is known for such novels as The Legend of Hell House, The Incredible Shrinking Man, and I Am Legend! He is also known for his screenplays for Roger Corman...The House of Usher and The Raven...as well as The Devil Rides Out for Hammer films! Boasting an all star cast! Jack Palance is Dracula! Here Dracula is Vlad the Impaler from history! Palance also was the mob boss in Tim Burton's Batman and Curly from City Slickers. Palance enjoyed a long carreer also starring in such western classics as Shane and the Professionals! Sarah Douglas stars as one of Dracula's Brides. You may remember her as Ursa in Superman and Superman II and Queen Taramis from the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic Conan the Destroyer! Starring as Arthur is Simon Ward from Supergirl and The Three Musketeers! Nigel Davenport from Chariots of Fire and Zulu Dawn takes on the role of Professor Van Helsing.
