The key here is to time everyone's burst right before the hilichurls spawn and burst them quickly. The first wave will spawn around the Abyss Herald's first location and the next waves at several other parts of the stage. Knowing this location is vital depending on how many waves you can bring the Herald to put out his shield. If you're not fast enough, the Abyss Herald is back to full health :)

Oh yeah, one of the energy amplifiers I used was the one that spawns Hydro amber for some freeze crowd control.
