This throw, catch, not catch, catch, touchdown was amazing, but how did we get there.

I am Dallas, This is Perry and on this channel I make Dallas Cowboys content and on some videos talk about God at the end. Back to the play.

I have been reading very slowly through the OT and while I was reading 2 Chronicles 5 I came across this quote in verse 13… “For he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever,” and I thought man I feel like this has been repeated so many times. So I did a quick brave search and it says that it has been mentioned roughly 172 in the OT, which this is an AI answer so who knows, but just from my experience reading seems to fit.

And I believe it all goes back to this moment in Exodus when God meets Moses on the mountain and declares who He is. , “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, 7 keeping steadfast love for thousands,[a] forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children's children, to the third and the fourth generation.”

And so this is who God is and the Israelites, or at least the faithful ones, keep this refrain in their head.

So may we keep the ancient refrain in our head in good times and bad times for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever.
