Experiment on a plant you can afford to lose. Microwave water for 30 seconds, water the plant. It will die! One ANNCR video shows doctor claiming that food microwaved is a way to slow death, food robbed of its nutritional value. One thing that it might be good for keeping around? Zapping food for 5 to 10 seconds, in order to rid it of disease germs / bacteria. Remember when the SAVE THE EARTH fanatics fought against "irradiating" food during processing?
That was UV light, zapping food for only a very brief blast! NOW? We have so many RECALLS! Why?!? Imagine that~! Other "good" uses? Sterilize cloth or other materials, boiling them in water. Warm up gloves. Share your own suggestions!!! We still use for boiled eggs, but may stop.
TWO KEY FACTORS to protect yourself from radiation are...
SHIELDING (lead paint?) and DISTANCE. Do not stand close.
A third factor is DOSE or RAD (radiation absorbed dose), which has to do with
quality (power) and quantity (exposure time) = amount.
