Not Even A Year

This year Washington state centralized the background check process for firearms. The FFLs no longer process our NICS checks in store through their systems. The paperwork is filled out at the store, but it's then sent to the Washington State Patrol to be submitted. We first lost the same day pistol purchase with a CPL in hand and initiated a 10 day wait, then I-1639 extended that same time to semi-auto rifles. Now all modern semi-auto rifles are banned, magazines are capped at 10 rounds, and we can't get any first time owners through the process, replacements or trade off for new/better. All these regulations have done is make it difficult on the law-abiding citizens of WA. Combined it with a faulty voting system, and horrible "leadership..." We are SOL. oh and to add to it, every firearm sold with a 10 day wait has paperwork submitted to the DOL 🙃 so y'all, we are on a registry... 🤬
