Purim - Victory Over the Enemy

There are some that insist that the Book of Esther does not belong in the Bible - one reason being, it does not contain the Creator’s Name.

The very fact that the book does not contain Creator’s Name makes it very clear that it applies to our modern time, when ELOAH has hidden his face from the world. None of the events of the Esther story are miraculous per se. The hand of ELOAH can be detected only indirectly, in the incredibly unlikely combination of circumstances and events that make up Esther’s Story.

There is a special Hebrew term to describe the sort of miracle the Purim story represents: 'nes nistar', a term that translates literally as Concealed Miracle. All overcomers are searching for the day when they will receive rest from their enemies – the day when their sorrow will be turned into joy and their mourning will be turned into a day of celebration.

This Day of Celebration is reflected in the Feast of Purim.
