Sen. John Thune has won the secret election conducted by Senate Republicans to become the upper chamber’s next majority leader. Thune is now a key partner on Capitol Hill to President Donald Trump, However, many online are voicing their concerns over the selection, still insisting Rick Scott should have been chosen but hoping the Republican from South Dakota will prove everyone wrong -and he’s off to a good start, Thune has reportedly already jumped on a phone call with Trump then said he is excited to get to work implementing the president’s agenda.
