It's the third outing for the 0620 man , Travis Devine - this time tasked with protecting a 12 year old girl currently in FBI custody after the death of her parents. The girl's Uncle , currently on bail and a well known criminal is trying to get custody of the girl but the FBI is not sure that this is a great idea. A complicated scenario as Travis knows the girl's Uncle from his army days and soon becomes aware that a broader conspiracy is afoot with a clandestine organisation seeking to overthrow the US Government.
For good measure Travis is also being hunted by a trained assassin , The Girl On The Train who he encountered in a previous adventure !
Another fast paced , action packed , well written tale from David Baldacci !
